Answer:-

x²+5x+8

comparing it with ax²+bc+c

we have , a=1 , b=5 and c=8

let the zeroes be alpha and beta

sum of zeroes = (alpha + beta) = -b/a

from above , -5/1 that is -5

product of zeroes = (alpha × beta) = c/a

from above , 8/1 that's is 8

so , 5 and 8 are the two zeroes

now let p = 5 and q = 8

(p+q) = (5+8)

(p + q) = 13
