sum of zeroes = - B /a
p + q = - ( - 7 )/2
p + q = 7/2
p square + q square = (7/2)^2
= 49 / 4

fx=2x^2-7x+3
put fx=0
2x^2-7x+3=0
2x^2-6x-x+3=0
2x(x-3)-1(x-3)=0
(x-3)(2x-1)=0
x=3 or x=1/2
p=3 and q=1/2
p^2+ q^2=3^2+(1/2)^2
=9+1/4
=37/4
