Step-by-step explanation:

p & q are the zeroes of polynomial

f(x) = 2x²-7x+3

p + q = 7/2 -----(1)

pq = 3/2

p - q = √(p+q)²-4pq

p - q = √(49/4)-6

p - q = √(49-24)/4

p - q = √(25/4)

p - q = 5/2 -----(2)

from equation (1) + (2)

2p = 12/2 = 6

p = 3

q = 1/2

Value of p² = 3² = 9
