Hi friend!!

Given,

p and q are zeroes of x² + 5x+8

Then we know that,

Sum of zeros =-x-coefficient/x²-coefficient

p+q=-5/1=-5

I hope this will help you ;)

Heya !!!

P(X) = X² + 5X + 8

Here,

A = 1 , B = 5 and C = 8

We know that,

Sum of zeroes = -B/A

P + Q = - (5)/1

P + Q = -5
