P(E) +P(NOT E) =1

P(E) = 0.05

0.05+P(NOT E) = 1

P(NOT E) = 1- 0.05

P(NOT E) = 0.95

probability of 'not E' is 0.95

Answer:

probability P(E)=0.05 probability of not happening the event A = P(E') now we know that P(E) +P(E')=1 hence P(E')=1-- P(E) = 1-0.05=0.95
