As we know, P(E)+P(not E)=1
so, 0.37+P(not E)= 1
. P(not E)= 1-0.37= 1.00-0.37
. = 63

Hope it help......

Answer:

P(not\:E)=0.63

Step-by-step explanation:

For\:any\:event\:E,\boxed {P(E)+P(not\:E)=1}\\[E\:and \:(not\:E ) \:are\\ called\:complimentary\:events]

Here, P(E)=0.37,\\P(E)+P(not\:E)=1

\implies 0.37+P(not\:E)=1

\implies P(not\:E)=1-0.37\\=0.63

Therefore,

P(not\:E)=0.63
