If p is inversely proportional to the square of q, and p is 28 when q is 7, determine p when q is equal to 2.

p \:  \alpha  \: 1  \div  {q}^{2}

p \:  =  \: k \div  {q}^{2}

when p = 28 and q = 49

28 = k/49 .................(1)

at q = 2

p = k/4 ............... ..(2)

dividing (1) by (2)-----

28/p = 4k/49k

28/p = 4/49

p = 28*49/4

p = 7*49

p = 343
