Acc.to the question

P is the mid point so,

assume coordinates of P will x and y

by the section formula

x= x2+x1/2(if point is lie on mid of the line)

putting the value ,we get

x= 6-4/2=2/2=1

Similarly y= y2+y1/2

y=2+2/2=4/2

y= 2

Hence x= 1 and y = 2

Coordinates of P are 1 and 2 (1,2)
