if p(m)=m²—3 m+1,then find p(1)+p(—1)​

p(1) = 1 ^{3}  - 3(1) + 1 \\  \\  = 1 - 3 + 1 \\  \\  =  - 1..................eq(1)

NOW

p( - 1) =  (- 1) ^{3}  - 3( - 1) + 1 \\  \\  =  - 1 + 3 + 1 \\  \\  = 3...........eq(2)

From eq 1 and 2

  ( - 1) + (3) \\  = 2
