Dear Student,

✩ Given :

P={m,n} and Q={a,b}

____________________________

✩ To Find :

PxQ and QxP

_____________________________

✩Explanation :

P={a,b}

Q={x,y,z}

☛ P×Q= {(a,x),(a,y),(a,z),(b,x),(b,y),(b,z)}

☛ Q×P= {(x,a),(x,b),(y,a),(y,b),(z,a),(z,b)}

⇒By the definition of equality of ordered pairs, the pair (a,x) is not equal to the pair (x,a)

Therefore, P×Q ≠ QxP
