if p+q=5 and pq =6 what will be the value of p^2+q^2​

p^2 +q^2 = (p+q)^2 -2pq

using identify a^2 + b^2 = (a+b)^2 -2ab

Putting Values

(5)^2 -2x6

(p+q=5).....(pq = 6)

=> 25-12

=> 13
