Hey!

You're question is wrong. It should have been PQ=QR!

let the line be AB

A___P___Q____R____B

Now

PQ=1/2PR (Q is midpoint of PR)

Similarly, QR=1/2PR

Therefore, PQ=QR

(By Euclids axiom, things equal to the same are equal to one another)
