We know,

Alpha + Beta = - b/a = - (-p) = p

Alpha × Beta = c/a = - ( p+c ) 

Thus,

( Alpha + 1 ) ( Beta + 1 )

= - (p+c) + p + 1

= - p - c + p + 1

= 1 - c

Thus, ( Alpha + 1 ) ( Beta + 1 ) = 1 - c
