if p,q are two prime numbers then what is the h.c.f and l.c.m of p and q?

p and q are prime numbers

so p and q  have only  2 factors 

the number itslef and 1

so hcf = 1

now lcm

=> lets recall a property

=> prime * prime = composite no.

let the numbers be 5 and 7

now lcm of  5 and 7 is 35

which is a composit no.
