Sum of zeroes = -b/a
p+q = 7/2
Product of zeroes = c/a
Pq = 3/2
p^2 + q^2 = (p+q)^2 -2pq
= (7/2)^2 - 2 x 3/2
= 49/4 -3
= 49-12/4
=37/4
