2x^2-7x+3=0\\2x^2-6x-x+3=0\\2x(x-3)-1(x-3)=0\\(2x-1)(x-3)=0\\Hence, \\p=1/2\\or\\q=3\\\\p^2+q^2=(1/2)^2+(3)^2\\=1/4+9\\=37/4
