hi friend,

here is your answer

please follow me

answer:

p→q is false only when p is true and q is false.

∴p→(p∨q) is false when p is true and (q∨r) is false, and

p∨q false when both p,q are false.

hope it helps you and you understood

Truth Table

Given:

If p ∨ q is true and p ∧ q is false.

To find:

Statement which is not true.

Explanation:

A truth table showing the truth value of a statement formula for each possible combinations of truth values of component statement.

If p ∨ q is true and p ∧ q is false,

let p=F and q =T

so,

p ∨ q ⇒ F ∨ T =T (this gives result as true)

p ∧ q ⇒ F ∧ T= F

p ⇔ q ⇒ F⇔T= F (this gives result as false or not true)

¬p∨¬q ⇒ T ∨ F = T ( this also gives result as true)

q∨¬q ⇒ T ∨ F = T ( this also gives result as true).
