Given,

pq + qr + pr = 26.

and,

p + q + r = 9.
 {(p + q + r)}^{2} = {p}^{2} + {q}^{2} + {r}^{2} + 2pq + 2qr + 2pr \\ = > {9}^{2} = {p}^{2} + {q}^{2} + {r}^{2} + 2(pq + qr + pr) \\ = > 81 = {p}^{2} + {q}^{2} + {r}^{2} + 2(26) \\ = > 81 - 52 = {p}^{2} + {q}^{2} + {r}^{2} = 29

Thus, p² + q² + r² = 29 answer.
