SOLUTION

GIVEN

p-q-r and d (pq) = 2, d (pr) =10

TO DETERMINE

d(qr)

EVALUATION

Here it is given that : p - q - r

So Q is the point between P and R

Here it is also given that

d (pq) = 2 and d (pr) =10

Hence

 \sf{d(qr) =  d(pr) -  d(pq)}

 \implies  \sf{d(qr) =  10 - 2}

\implies  \sf{d(qr) =  8}

FINAL ANSWER

   \sf{d(qr) =  8}

EVALUATION

Here it is given that : p - q - r

So Q is the point between P and R

Hence

\sf{d(qr) = d(pr) - d(pq)}d(qr)=d(pr)−d(pq)

\implies \sf{d(qr) = 10 - 2}⟹d(qr)=10−2

\implies \sf{d(qr) = 8}⟹d(qr)=8

FINAL ANSWER

\sf{d(qr) = 8}d(qr)=8
