The Answer is R² + S² = 2(P + Q)²

Given

P + Q = R

P - Q = S

Squaring the given equations.

⇒ P² + Q² = R²... (1)

⇒ P² - Q² = S²...(2)

which gives us..

P² + Q² +2PQ = R²....from(1)

P² + Q² -2PQ = S²...from(2)

Adding both:-

P²+Q²+2PQ+P²+Q²-2PQ=R²+S²

Which ultimately gives us

R² + S² = 2(P + Q)²
