Given that
p, q, r, s , t are in A.P
Also given that ( p, q < 0 ) and t > 0 .
The basic rule of A.P is its Common Difference which can be either positive or negative.
So we get each next term of an AP by adding common difference to its preceding term.
So according to given data, the first two Terms are negative and the last terms is positive which means Common Difference is also positive.
So it will be increasing Progression.
So the largest term among them will be t.
Example:
-5 , -1 , 3 , 7 , 11 is an AP with a common difference '4'.
