Given :- If p, q, r and s are in AP then r-q is ?

Answer :-

we know that, in AP common difference is same between two numbers .

let a1, a2, a3, a4 are in AP .

then,

→ common difference = a2 - a1 = a3 - a2 = a4 - a3 .

so, when p, q, r and s are in AP ,

→ common difference = q - p = r - q = s - r .

therefore, we can conclude that,

  • r - q is equal to q - p and s - r .
