If p=x+1 and 4p-3/2-3x+2/5=3/2 , find x.

4(x+1)-3/2-3x+2/5 =3/2

4x+4-3/2-3x+2/5 = 3/2

4x-3x = 3/2+3/2-2/5-4

x = 6/2-2/5-4

x. = ( 30-4-40)/10

x. = (-14/10)
