then

=2+0+2(0)

=2+0

=2

p(1)

then

2+1+2(1)

=3+2

=5

p(x) = 2 + x + 2x  = 2 + 3x \\  \\  =  > p(0) = 2 + 3(0) = 2 + 0 = 2 \\  \\  =  > p(1) = 2 + 3(1) = 2 + 3 = 5
