At x=2 , p(x)=10

At x=-3 , p(x)=

At x=2,

p(2)=2(2)^3-13(2)^2+17(2)+12

=2^4-13x4+34+12

=16-52+46

=10+6+46-52

=10

At x=-3,

p(-3)=2(-3)^3-13(-3)^2+17(-3)+12

=2(-27)-13(9)+-51+12

= -54-117-51+12

=-(54+117+51)+12

=-222+12

=-210

Answer:

-614

1128

Step-by-step explanation:

p(2)=( 2×2)³ - (13×2)² + 17×2 +12

=4² - 26² + 34 + 12

= 16- 676 + 34 +12

= -614

p(3) = (2×3)² - (13×3)² + 17×3 + 12

= 6² - 39² + 51² +12

= 36- 1521 + 2601 +12

= 1128
