Answer:

P( - 2) = 2 \times  - 2 - 3 \times 4 - 2 - 4

P( - 2) =  - 4 - 12 - 2 - 4

P( - 2) =  - 22

Substituting -2 in place of x ,

= 2(-2) - 3(2)² + (-2) -4

= -4 -12 -2 -4

= -8 -14

= -22

P(-2) = -22
