The value of P(1/3) = 2

Given :

Polynomial P(x) = 3x+1

To find:

Find p(1/3)

Solution:

Given polynomial  P(x) = 3x+1

To find P(1/3) take x = 1/3

Now find P(1/3) by

Substituting x = 1/3 in P(x)

P(\frac{1}{3} ) = 3(\frac{1}{3} ) + 1

P(\frac{1}{3} ) =1 + 1

P(\frac{1}{3} ) =2

The value of P(1/3) = 2
