Answer:

put X=1 to find

p(1) = 3(1)^2-1-4

P(1) = 3-1-4

p(1) = 3-5=

P(1) = -2

find all in same way ... put x=2 to find P(2)

put x=-1 to find P(-1)= 3×(-1)^2 - (-1) -4

p(-1) = 3+1-4 =4-4 =0

in the same way find next

AnsweR :-

P(x) = 3x² - x - 4

___

p(1) = 3(1)² - (1) - 4

p(1) = 3 - 1 - 4

p(1) = -2

___

P(2) = 3(2)² - (2) - 4

P(2) = 12 - 2 - 4

P(2) = 6

___

P(-1) = 3(-1)² - (-1) - 4

P(-1) = 3 + 1 - 4

P(-1) = 0

___

P(-2) = 3(-2)² - (-2) - 4

P(-2) = 12 + 2 - 4

P(-2) = 10

Procedure :-

\implies This question is from the chapter polynomials, in the first case we have to put 1 in place of x and the we have equate the whole expression and hence, the final answer is -2.

\implies In the second case we will put the 2 in place of x and then again we will equate the whole expression and hence, the answer is 6.

\implies In the third case we will put -1 in place of x and then we will equate the whole expression again, but, we have put positive sign in place of negetive because (-)(-) = +, and hence, the final answer is 0.

\implies In the fourth case we will do the same as we have done in third equation, and Hence, the final answer is 10.
