Given :-

p(x) = 5x - 4

p(1)

To :-

Find the value of P(1)

Solution :-

p(x) = 5x - 4

p(1) = 5(1) - 4

p(1) = 5 - 4

p(1) = 1

Procedure :-

→ This question is from the polynomials.

→ In this question we are given the expression p(x) = 5x - 4. And we are also given that value of x that is 1 and is written as P(1).

→ Then in the solution we will put 1 in place of x. Then as we know that whenever any constant is outside the brackets and one constant or variable is inside the bracket they will always get multipled.

→ Like that we will multiply 5 with 1 and as we know that the answer will be 5 then we will subract it from 4 and hence, the final will be 1

\therefore The value of P(1) = 1
