If p = (-1),
Then,
p( - 1) = 6( - 1) ^{3} + 5 ( - 1) ^{2} - 3( - 1) + 2
 \: \: \: \: \: \: = 6( - 1) + 5(1) + 3 + 2
= -6 + 5 + 3 +2
= -6 + 10
= 4
