answer: take the value of x=2

x³+3x²-2x+4

2³+3×2²-2×2+4

8+3×4-4+4

8+12

20

x=-2

(-2)³+3×(-2)²-2×-2+4

-8+3×4+4+4

12

x=0

0³+3×0²-2×0+4

4

if we add all the answers

20+12+4

36
