P(x) =(x-1)(x+1)

P(0)=(0-1)(0+1)

P(0)=(-1)(1)

P(0)=-1

P(1)=(1-1)(1+1)

P(1)=(0)(2)

P(1)=0

P(1) is a zero of the polynomial P(x) =(x-1)(x+1)

Step-by-step explanation:

1)p(x)=(x+1)(x-1)

p(0)=(0+1)(0-1)

=1×(-1)

=-1

2)p(x)=(x+1)(x-1)

p(1)=(1+1)(1-1)

=2×0

=0

3)p(x)=(x+1)(x-1)

p(2)=(2+1)(2-1)

=3×1

=3
