Given: p(x)=(x - 1)(x + 1).

To find: We have to find P(0), P(1) and P(2).

Solution:

The given expression is p(x)=(x - 1)(x + 1).

To determine the value of p(0) we have to put the value of x as 0.

p(0)=(0-1)(0+1)

p(0)=-1

To determine the value of p(1) we have to put the value of x as 1.

p(1)=(1-1)(1+1)

p(1)=0×2

p(1)=0

To determine the value of p(2) we have to put the value of x as 2.

p(2)=(2-1)(2+1)

p(2)=1×3

p(2)=3

The value of p(0) is -1, p(1) is 0 and p(2) is 3.
