Answer:

p(x) = x³ - 2x² + 5x - 3

p(-1) = (-1)³ - 2(-1)² + 5(-1) - 3

p(-1) = - 1 - 2 - 5 - 3 = - 11

 \therefore Hence, p(-1) = - 11

\begin{gathered}\begin{gathered}{\huge{\fbox{\fbox{\textbf{\textsf{{\color{orange}{An}}{\orange{sw}}{\orange{er}}}}}}}} \\ \end{gathered}\end{gathered}

p(x) =  {x}^{3}  - 2 {x}^{2}  + 5x - 3 \\  \\ when \: \:  p( - 1) \\  \\

Put x = -1

( - 1) {}^{3}  - 2( - 1) { }^{2}  + 5( - 1) - 3 \\  \\  - 1 - 2  - 5 - 3 \\  \\ - 3 - 8   \\  \\ - 11
