p(x) = x+3

p(-x) = -x+3

now, p(x) +p(-x) = x+3+(-x+3)

=x+3-x+3

=6 Ans.

Given, p(x) = x + 3

\therefore , p( −x ) = −x + 3

Now, p(x) + p( −x )=(x + 3) + ( −x + 3) = 6
