  • p(x)=x+3.

To Find:-

  • Value of p(x)+p(−x).

Solution:-

Putting x=-x in the equation p(x)=x+3.

p( - x) = - x + 3

Now, Adding p(x)+p(−x)

p(x)+p(−x) = x + 3 - x + 3

 = > + 6

Given that:

p (x) = x + 3

= p(-x) = -x + 3

Now,

p(-x) + p (x)

-x + 3 + x + 3

= 3+3

= 6
