The polynomial given : p(x) = x⁴ – + 20

Finding p(2) for p(x) = x⁴ + 20 :

x + 20

(2) (2)² + 20

16 4 + 20

12 + 20

32

Finding p(3) for p(x) = x⁴ + 20 :

x⁴ + 20

(3) (3)² + 20

81 9 + 20

72 + 20

92

Finding the value of p(2) + p(3) :

32 + 92

124

Therefore, the value of p(2) + p(3) is 124 when p(x) = x⁴ + 20.
