If p(x) = x2 - 3x + 2 then find p(x) + p(-x).

Answer:

p(x) = x2 -3x +2

p(-x) = (-x)2 -3(-x) +2

p(-x) = x2 +3x +2

p(x) + p(-x) = x2 -3x +2 + x2 +3x +2

p(x) + p(-x) = 2x^2 + 4

2 {x}^{2}  + 4

2( {x}^{2}  + 2)
