Solution : -

P(x) = x^2 - x + 1

P( 3) = ?

put , x = 3

P(x) = x^2 - x + 1

P(3) = ( 3 )^2 - 3 + 1

P(3) = 9 - 3 + 1

P( 3 ) = 10 - 3

P( 3 ) = 7

Therefore,

P( 3) = 7
