Answer:

IF p(x) = x³-3x²+2x-3

then, p(1) = (1)³ - 3(1)² + 2(1) - 3

= 1-3+2-3

= -3

and p(-1) = (-1)³ -3(-1)² + 2(-1) -3

= -1-3-2-3

= -11

and hence, p(1) + p(-1) = -3+(-11)

= -14

HOPE IT HELPS.

THANKS.

Answer:

-3 and -9

Step-by-step explanation:

p(1) = (1) {}^{3} - 3(1) ^{2} + 2(1) - 3 \\ = 1 - 3 + 2 - 3 \\ = -3 \\ \\ p( - 1) = ( - 1) ^{3} - 3( - 1)^{2} + 2( - 1) - 3 \\ = ( - 1) -3 - 2 - 3 \\ = - 9
