p(x)=x³-3x²+x-4

I)p(1)=x³-3x²-x+4

=(1)³-3(1)²-(1)+4

=1-3-1+4

=5-4=1

ii)p(x)=x³-3x²+x-4

p(-1)=x³-3x²+x-4

=(-1)³-3(-1)²+(-1)+4

=-1-3-1+4

=-5+5=0
