If p(X) = x3 -x2 + 3x + 4 then find p(1) and p(-2)

Here,

P(x) = x³ - x² +3x +4

Then,

P(1) = (1)³-(1)²+3(1)+4

P(1) = 7 (on solving)

Then,

P(-2) = (-2)³-(-2)²+3(-3)+4

P(-2) =8-4-9+4

P(-2) =1
