p(1) = 1 - 1 + 1 + 1 \\ p(1) = 2 \\ p( - 1) = - 1 - 1 - 1 + 1 \\ p( - 1) = - 2 \\ (p(1) + p( - 1) )/2= (2 + ( - 2))/2 \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: = 0

p(1) = 1 ^3 - 1^2 + 1 +1
= 1 - 1 + 1+1
= 2

p ( -1) = (-1)^3 - (-1)^2 +(-1) +1
= -1 -1 -1 + 1
= -2 - 0
= -2
P ( 1 ) + P ( -1) / 2
2 + -2 / 2
0/2
