y-3=0

y=3

so, p(3)=3^3 +3^2 +2(3)+1

=27+9+6+1=43

so, remainder=43

Step-by-step explanation:

y-3=0

y=3

p(x)=y^3+y^2-2y+1

p(3)=3^3+3^2-(2×3)+1

27+9-6+1

=31
