If peers accept a scientific paper’s claim, what is the next step in the process?
Answers
If a scientific paper get accepted by the peer review committee, the paper will get published by following these steps.
Chief Editor is the responsible person for acceptance and rejection of the paper. If the chief editor accepts the paper the committee will send it to a reviewer for language correction like grammar and spelling errors.
If the reviewer gives a poor review, they will send the paper to another reviewer for correction and then to the author for revision. If the paper passed the first reviewer, it will reach the chief editor and then to the author for revision.
After the author revision, the paper goes for a second review to the chief editor. If it passes the second review it will go for an editorial board meeting and then for publishing. If the paper doesn’t pass the second review, the chief editor will return the manuscript to the author again.
If the peers accept a scientific paper claim, the next step in this process is to publish the content.
However, in a case when the paper claim is not accepted, one move to second, third or fourth step as it deems necessary.
The review is entirely based on the subject matter and editor’s requirements.
