Answer:

9%

Explanation:

Heat, H = i^2 × R × t

since the errors in measuring current, resistance and time are 5% or less than 5%, we can write,

Error in measuring heat, ∆H = 2(∆i) + ∆R + ∆t

∆H = 2×1 + 2 + 5

∆H = 9%

Hope it helped :)

Given,

Percentage error in measurement of current=1%

In resistance=2%

In time=5%

To Find,

Error in calculation of heat.

Solution,

So we know that,

Heat, H = i² × R × t

As it is given that the errors in measuring current, resistance and time are 1%,2% and 5%

So,Error in measuring heat, ∆H = 2(∆i) + ∆R + ∆t

⇒∆H = 2×1 + 2 + 5

⇒∆H = 9%

Hence, percentage error in calculation of heat is 9%.
