If r is 2 units then the area and perimeter of the circle would be numerically equal.

Perimeter of circle  = 2πr

Area of circle  = πr²

According to the Question,

Perimeter of circle = Area of circle

2πr = πr²

\mathtt {\frac{2\pi r}{\pi r} = r}

or, 2 = r

or, r = 2

Hence the radius is 2.
