perimeter = 100 cm
length of diagonal = 48 cm
perimeter of rhombus = 4a
100 = 4a
a = 100/4
a =25 cm = length of one side..
divide rhombus ABCD in two parts ABC and ADC
so in triangle ABC
AB = BC = 25 cm
AC = 48 cm (given)
so,
Area of triangle ABC + Area of ADC = Area of rhombus ABCD
2×1/2×base ×height
2×1/2×25×25
2×1/2×625
625 cm^2
so, area of rhombus ABCD is 625 cm ^2.
length of diagonal = 48 cm
perimeter of rhombus = 4a
100 = 4a
a = 100/4
