If perimeter of equilateral traingle is 60 m then find area

let the sides of equilateral triangle be =L
so, 3L=60m
=>. L=20m
area of equilateral triangle=L²√3/4
=>area =400√3/4
=>100√3m²

Given,
Perimeter of the equilateral triangle = 60 m

•°• 2s = 60 m

=> s = 60/2 m

=> s = 30 m

And, 1 side = 60/3 m
= 20 m

•°• a = 20 m , b = 20 m , c = 20 m

So,
area = \sqrt{s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)} \\ = \sqrt{30(30 - 20)(30 - 20)(30 - 20)} \\ = \sqrt{30 \times 10 \times 10 \times 10} \\ = \sqrt{30000} \\ = 100 \sqrt{3} \: \: \: m {}^{2}
