Answer:

Given :

The perimeter of rectangle = P = 64 cm

The length of the rectangle = L = 17 cm

To Find :

The breadth of the rectangle

Solution :

Let The breadth of rectangle = B cm

∵ Perimeter of rectangle = 2 × (Length + breadth )

Or, P = 2 × ( L + B )

Or, 64 cm = 2 × ( 17 cm + B )

Or, ( 17 cm + B ) = 64 /2

i.e ( 17 cm + B ) = 32 cm

Or, B = 32 cm - 17 cm

∴ Breath = B = 15 cm

Hence, The Breadth of the rectangle is 15 cm . Answer

Step-by-step explanation:

given that

perimeter of rectangle: 64 cm

breadth: 15cm

length: ?

perimeter= 2 (l+b)

64 = 2 (l+ 15)

64=. 2l +30

2l=. 64-30

2l. = 34

l= 34/2

l= 17

hence, the length of the rectangle is 17 cm.
